TRAINING DAY 2018 - This year's Training Day will be held on Wednesday 17th October at Tewin Bury Farm, Welwyn, AL6 0JB. The format has been changed this year to introduce practical demonstrations into the programme providing delegates with a more hands on approach to learning. Demonstrations include:

  • Site investigation – trial pit, borehole
  • CCTV Drainage survey/investigation
  • Arboricultural Inspection
  • Piling Types
  • Masonry repairs/strengthening

PAST EVENTS -

ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING 2018- This year's Annual General Meeting was held on Thursday 17th May at the Oxfordshire Hotel, Rycote Lane, Milton Common, Thame, Oxfordshire, OX9 2PU. Following the formal address of the AGM items, the forum welcomed presentations from Clive Edmonds, Peter Brett Associates on the "Pinner Wood School" project and John Parvin, Zurich Insurance on "Preparing and Responding to Catastrophes/Surges in Claims". TRAINING DAY 2017- The Training Day was held on Thursday 19 October at BRE. We welcomed over 110 delegates on the day. A similar format to 2016 was adopted with voting buttons being utilised again to fully engage the audience and obtain feedback and participation.

The topics for the day included Root Barrier Splits, Japanese Knotweed, Ground instability risk profiling, Satellite mapping, Trees issue, Legal Update
